Through various experiments, including no-load, loaded, short-circuit and generator paralleling tests, students gain a comprehensive understanding of fundamental concepts related to electrical machines. These concepts include electricity and magnetism, rotating magnetic fields, mutual induction, motor and generator operating modes, performance mechanisms, speed and torque control, and other relevant principles.
The DC Electrical Machinery Training Panel was designed and manufactured by Qeshm Voltage Electrical and Electronics Engineering Company. This panel includes various sections dedicated to different types of DC machines, such as separately excited, shunt, series, and compound motors.
In addition to the above, working with industrial equipment like industrial meters (voltmeter, ammeter, frequency meter, power analyzer), a rectifier as a variable DC power supply, a servo motor, phase/load control, a residual current device (RCD), a contactor relay starter system, start and stop pushbuttons, and an emergency stop pushbutton immerses students and researchers in a compact yet fully industrial environment. This hands-on experience significantly enhances their skills and prepares them for effective participation in any industrial facility.
